be used to~ vs get used to~

be used to~, 

- a state of being accustomed to something. Someone already familiar with or adapted to sth.

- can be used with various tenses (present, past, present perfect, future)

I am used to my new house.

I was used to the noise in the city.

A new employee wasn't used to the new work.

I have been used to working late for years.

He still has been used to his girlfriend's style for 5 years.

I will be used to the new system soon.

She seems used to her new job.

  

 

 

get used to~, ~에 익숙해지고 있다. 익숙해질 것이다. 익숙할 것이다. 가능성, 잠재적, 가정의 상황: 현재, 진행, 미래시제

- the process of becoming accustomed to sth. Someone in the process of adapting or will adapt to sth.

- often used with modal verbs (could, will, would) or in the progressive tense to indicate the ongoing process of adaptation.

It takes time to get used to a new environment.  Simple Present

We have to get used to a new superior.

I am getting used to my new job. Present Progressive

I am hardly getting used to my new hairstyle.
